Know what to expect before you talk

How Our Network Works for Homeowners

Who will I actually talk to?

You will talk with an independent local concrete provider. Igtvgroup Concrete is the connection, not the contractor. There are no staff profiles here, because the person who visits your home and quotes your job is the provider.

What happens on the first call?

Expect a friendly chat. The provider will ask about your project: a new driveway, a patio, or a stamped finish. Have a rough size ready. Mention the age of your home and whether it sits on a slab or a raised foundation. Share any timing you have in mind.

It also helps to take a few photos of the space before you talk. Note where rain pools after a storm. Jot down a budget range, too. That lets the provider suggest options that fit, instead of guessing what you want.

What should I ask?

These questions help you feel ready:

  • How do you prepare the base, and why?
  • What thickness and reinforcement do you plan to use?
  • Where will joints go, and how will water drain?
  • How do you plan around winter rain or smoke days?
  • Is concrete flatwork your main work, or a side job?
  • Will the quote be written, with materials and scope listed?

A good answer is clear and specific. A red flag is a vague reply, pressure to sign today, or a request for full payment before work starts.

Am I in control?

Yes. You choose whether to get an estimate. You choose whether to compare more than one. You choose whether to move forward. There is no obligation when you ask. If a provider mentions foundation repair experts or a different trade, ask why and take notes.
